People keep saying that you can only make BIG money with Facebook publishing by targeting general niches like ones about puppies, grandmas and football – WRONG!
Facebook is heavily rewarding publishers who focus on more useful and intellectual content, driving users away from platforms like X and towards.
Let’s take a look at an example Facebook Page that’s KILLING it…
1. Example Finance Page
Here’s one of our favorite pages to curate from that focuses on economics and financial news.
Usually one finds content like this more on platforms like X, but this guy has figured out a way to make it work great on Facebook too.
I will bet you my left testicle that his RPM’s are phenomenal.
He creates trending content that covers what’s happening in the news, all with a slant towards financial and economics news.
Here’s an example…
He varies post types as well, it’s not all just image shares.
Here’s him doing a viral text post, of course the one with a black background as this format performs by far the best out of all the text format post types.
He also dabbles in political news which is doing okay for him too.
As one of his engagement tactics, he also leaves comments underneath his posts to boost engagement (see below).
He’s also testing out random engagement-bait post types, and clearly not everything is working out, but it’s always worth a test!
We’d recommend he set up some test pages instead so the performance of the main page isn’t diluted.
Here’s a post that you’d never think would do well on Facebook, but he figured out a way to present this information in a sensational way, just like Facebook loves.
For some reason he doesn’t have a website to drive traffic to – BIG MISTAKE!
He can drive a ton of traffic to his site while still making money from the Content Monetization program, and his site would easily get EXTREMELY high RPMs if on an ad network like Mediavine or Raptive in tandem with this niche.
