Soft launchListing is open to sellers. Buying opens in early October. List your asset

How it works

Two paths. One escrow.

Buyers verify, offer, run diligence, and settle. Sellers pick a track, get verified, and close. Publisher in a Box manages both sides of the transaction and never holds the money.

Buying an asset.

8 steps · browse to funds release

Steps one through four are yours to run at your own pace. PIB manages five through eight with the seller.

  1. 01

    Find and filter

Browse by category, asking price, monthly profit, and annual multiple. Every listing carries its tier on the card: Marquee, PIB Certified, or Seller-reported. The tier tells you who stands behind the numbers before you read a single one.

  2. 02

    Verify your identity

Buyers anywhere complete KYC through Persona. Verification takes minutes and it keeps unqualified buyers out of seller diligence.

  3. 03

Make an offer or request the NDA

Direct Listings take offers straight from verified buyers. Marquee and Elite Listings stay anonymized until buyer, seller, and PIB sign a tri-party NDA through PandaDoc. Once it is signed, private detail opens to you.

  4. 04

Run diligence in the data room

Elite Listings ship with a standardized data room: revenue history, traffic data, primary expenses, and operating entity records. You review the same document set on every one of them, so comparing two assets is a like-for-like read.

  5. 05

    Settle through escrow

You fund Escrow.com directly. PIB never touches the money. Escrow.com holds it until you confirm every transfer milestone.

  6. 06

Transitional admin, 48 to 72 hours

You join as an admin while the seller stays in place. Access changes gradually rather than all at once, which keeps the asset clear of platform flags during the handover.

  7. 07

    Full transfer

Ownership moves across the operating entity, the Business Portfolio, the page, the domain, hosting, ad accounts, automations, and documentation. Seller access is removed at the end of this step.

  8. 08

    Funds release

You confirm the transfer is complete. Escrow.com releases to the seller. PIB collects its commission through Stripe Connect after that release, never before.

The money path

Where your money sits, start to close.

Every dollar in a marketplace transaction moves between the buyer, Escrow.com, and the seller. Publisher in a Box is never in that line.

  1. Step 1Buyer funds Escrow.comPayment goes straight to the licensed escrow provider, never to a PIB account.
  2. Step 2Inspection periodThe buyer verifies the asset during transitional admin while Escrow.com holds the funds.
  3. Step 3Entity transferOwnership of the operating entity, accounts, and assets moves to the buyer.
  4. Step 4Buyer confirmsThe buyer signs off on every transfer milestone.
  5. Step 5Funds releaseEscrow.com pays the seller. PIB collects its commission only after this release.

Purchase funds never touch PIB.

Escrow.com settlement is required on social asset transfers at $5,000 and above. PIB recommends it on every transaction, and PIB collects its commission through Stripe Connect only after escrow releases to the seller.

Selling an asset.

7 steps · two tracks

Pick the track that fits the size of your asset, then follow the same close either way. Every sale on the marketplace is a 100 percent interest entity transfer.

To $49,999, run by you

Direct Listing

You list it for a flat fee and keep every dollar of the sale. Numbers publish as seller-reported. Verified buyers offer directly.

$50,000 and above, brokered by PIB

Elite Listing

PIB values the asset independently, verifies the numbers, builds the data room, sources buyers by name, and negotiates the sale for you.

  1. 01

    Pick your track

Two ways to sell. A Direct Listing is the track you run yourself, for assets to $49,999. An Elite Listing is brokered by PIB, from $50,000. The size of the asset decides the track.

  2. 02

    Direct Listing, run by you

You list it in minutes for a flat listing fee. No success fee. Your numbers publish as seller-reported and the listing says so on its face, which is the honest trade for speed and a low fee. Verified buyers make offers directly, and you close the deal.

  3. 03

    Elite Listing, brokered by PIB

PIB runs an independent valuation, verifies your revenue and traffic, builds the data room, sources buyers by name, promotes the asset on X, the newsletters and the WhatsApp community, and negotiates on your behalf. Elite Listings carry the PIB Certified badge and a full valuation report, and they close at higher multiples because the buyer is not pricing in doubt.

  4. 04

    Verification

PIB audits revenue history, payout records, compliance history, and account health. Anything that does not check out gets corrected before the listing goes live rather than discovered by a buyer mid-diligence.

  5. 05

    Go live

Your listing publishes with its tier badge, its data room where the track includes one, and its own page in the marketplace index. PIB matches it against qualified buyers already looking in your category.

  6. 06

    Offers

Review every offer in your dashboard. Accept, counter, or decline. Offers are binding expressions of intent, not payments, so nothing moves until you say yes.

  7. 07

    Close

The buyer funds escrow, you run the transitional admin period, ownership transfers, and escrow releases to you. PIB structures the paperwork as an entity transfer so the close holds up.

How we protect the transfer.

Compliance protocol

Structured to comply with Meta Terms of Service at every step.

Entity Transfer, Not Page Sale

The LLC owns the Business Portfolio. The Portfolio owns the Page. You acquire the entity, not the page directly. Same mechanism used in M&A transactions globally.

No Geographic Shock

Gradual admin addition with a 48 to 72 hour overlap. No sudden access changes that trigger algorithmic flags.

Behavioral Continuity

No name changes, topic pivots, or posting frequency shifts for 30 days or more after transfer.

Controlled Access Only

No mass admin additions. No multi-country logins. No shared credentials across unrelated accounts.

The five people always ask.

Common questions

Who holds the money during a transaction?

Escrow.com holds it. The buyer funds escrow directly and Escrow.com releases to the seller only after the buyer confirms every transfer milestone. Publisher in a Box never holds transaction funds at any point.

When does PIB get paid?

After escrow releases. PIB collects its commission and transaction fees through Stripe Connect once the transfer is confirmed and the seller has been paid. PIB cannot take a fee from a deal that does not close.

Is escrow required on every listing?

Escrow.com settlement is required on social asset transfers at $5,000 and above. PIB recommends escrow on every transaction regardless of size, and Certified listings run through it as standard.

What is the difference between a Certified listing and a Seller-reported listing?

PIB verified the numbers on a Certified listing and published a valuation report behind it. A Seller-reported listing carries numbers the seller submitted and PIB has not audited. The badge on the listing tells you which one you are reading.

What actually changes hands at close?

The operating entity that holds the asset. For a social asset that means the LLC that owns the Business Portfolio, which owns the page. For a website it means the domain, the site, the connected accounts, and the entity where the seller holds one. Every listing names its own inventory and the seller confirms it in writing before escrow funds.
