These Terms govern your use of the Publisher In A Box Asset Marketplace (the “Marketplace”), operated by Publisher In A Box Inc. (“PIB”). By using the Marketplace you agree to these Terms.
What this covers
The short version. The sections below are the terms themselves.
- Buyers and sellers anywhere are welcome, in any country. PIB may ask either side to verify their identity before a transaction closes, and the escrow and identity partners apply their own country coverage. Listings cover 100 percent interest transfers only.
- On the Open Market, under $50,000, you list the asset, set the price, and negotiate yourself. PIB provides the marketplace, the escrow route, and the transfer paperwork. The figures publish as you reported them and PIB does not verify them.
- On PIB Certified, from $50,000, PIB values the asset, verifies the figures, vets the buyers, and runs the sale with you.
- PIB never holds your money on either track. Value moves through Escrow.com, and PIB collects its fee after escrow releases.
- Buyers pass an identity check before they open private figures or place an offer.
- Sellers attest that the figures they submit are accurate and indemnify PIB against claims arising from an inaccurate submission.
- A verified data room opens under an NDA signed by the seller, the buyer, and PIB.
- A Professional Asset Valuation is an opinion built from figures the seller submits and PIB's own method. It is not an audit, an appraisal, or a guarantee, and every buyer runs their own due diligence.
- Listings describe an entity transfer. Fractional interests, equity stakes, and platform-rights language are not permitted.

Eligibility
Buyers and sellers anywhere are welcome on the Marketplace, in any country. PIB may ask a buyer or a seller to verify their identity before a transaction closes, and the escrow and identity partners apply their own country coverage. Listings cover 100 percent interest transfers only.
Role of PIB
The Marketplace runs on two tracks. On the Open Market, under $50,000, the seller lists the asset, sets the price, and negotiates with buyers directly. PIB provides the marketplace, the escrow route, and the transfer paperwork. Figures on an Open Market listing are reported by the seller, PIB does not verify them, and the listing is marked seller-reported. On PIB Certified, from $50,000, PIB values the asset, verifies the figures, vets buyers, and runs the sale with the seller. On both tracks PIB does not custody buyer funds. Transaction value flows through Escrow.com, and PIB collects commission and transaction fees through Stripe Connect after escrow release.
Valuations
A Professional Asset Valuation is an opinion PIB produces from figures the seller submits and PIB's own method. It does not constitute an audit, an appraisal, or a guarantee of asset value. PIB makes no warranty of accuracy. Every buyer is responsible for independent due diligence. Open Market listings carry no PIB valuation, and the numbers on them come from the seller.
Submitting a listing
Submitting a listing, a valuation request, or an application creates no commitment to list or to sell. A listing becomes public only after PIB reviews it and the seller receives written confirmation that it is live. Until then nothing is shown to buyers.
Withdrawing a listing
A seller may withdraw a listing or an application at any time, for any reason, without penalty, provided the seller has not signed an agreement with a buyer for that asset. No commission, success fee, or other payment is owed to PIB after withdrawal, including where the seller later sells the asset independently to a party who first learned of it through the Marketplace. There is no exclusivity period and no minimum listing term on either track.
Fees
On the Open Market a Direct Listing carries a flat listing fee by price band, published on the pricing page, and no success fee. From $50,000 an Elite Listing carries no listing fee and a success fee, collected only when the asset sells, at the percentage published for its band. Escrow.com charges its own fee on the transaction value under its published schedule. There are no valuation, legal, or other fees unless agreed with the seller in writing beforehand. During the soft launch, the listing fee is waived for Direct Listings submitted on or before October 1, 2026.
Agreements
These Terms govern use of the Marketplace. A separate seller agreement or brokerage agreement is signed only when a transaction proceeds, before escrow opens, and never as a condition of listing.
Confidential information
Financial detail, account access, and platform account information about an asset are disclosed to a prospective buyer only under a non-disclosure agreement signed by the seller, the buyer, and PIB, and only with the seller's approval. Public listing copy carries what the seller chooses to publish.
Seller warranties
Sellers warrant the accuracy of all submitted data and indemnify PIB against any claim arising from inaccuracies in the submission.
Liability cap
PIB's aggregate liability is capped at the lesser of the commission earned on the relevant transaction or ten thousand US dollars per dispute. Disputes resolve through binding arbitration.
Prohibited content
Listings cannot describe fractional interests, equity stakes, or partial offerings. Marketplace copy cannot use the phrase “sell a Facebook page” or equivalent platform-rights language. Use “entity transfer”.
Intellectual property
All content, frameworks, scoring methodologies, and proprietary processes referenced on the Marketplace are the intellectual property of Publisher In A Box Inc. Reproduction without written authorization is prohibited.
