When is each fee charged?

The listing fee is charged when a Direct Listing publishes, and again every 6 months if you renew. The success fee on an Elite Listing is charged after the escrow provider releases the purchase funds to you. PIB cannot take a success fee on a deal that does not close.

What if the asset does not sell?

You owe no success fee, because there is no sale to charge against. A Direct Listing fee pays for the 6 months the listing is live and is not refunded. An Elite Listing has no listing fee, so an unsold Elite asset costs you nothing.

How do renewals work?

A Direct Listing runs for 6 months. At the end of the term you renew at the same fee your band carries, $19 at the bottom of the ladder and $49 at the top, or you let it expire. The fee chart above has the figure for every band. Elite Listings stay live until the asset sells or you withdraw it.

Who pays the escrow fee?

The buyer pays it to the escrow provider when the deal funds. It is quoted at funding and it is never a PIB fee. PIB never holds purchase funds.

What does self-disclosing mean on a Direct Listing?

You list the asset and the numbers publish as seller-reported. The listing says so on its face. PIB does not run the compliance check or the Professional Asset Valuation on a Direct Listing, which is why there is no success fee. Buyers run their own diligence and the escrow provider settles the deal.

What happens at $1,000,000 and above?

The sale is structured on a call. There is no listing fee. The success fee, the buyer list, the deal structure, staff continuity, and earn-outs are agreed in writing with counsel before anything goes live.

You know the number. Now list it.
