PIB Marketplace vs Swapd and Fameswap.
Swapd and Fameswap move social accounts fast and cheaply, with escrow built in. PIB is a publishing company that runs a marketplace for publishing businesses, not accounts. That is the whole difference, and it decides everything below.
Competitor details as published on their sites on September 2, 2026. Every PIB figure comes from the fee schedule.
Why publishers choose PIB
Six things only a publisher does.
PIB publishes for a living and built this marketplace for itself first. Each card states what that buys you, then what Swapd and Fameswap does on the same line.
- 01
Publisher-grade verification
PIB collects Meta content monetization payouts on its own pages every month. On every PIB Certified listing it reads the seller's payout history line by line and reviews account standing, past strikes, and appeal history before the listing goes live.
Swapd and Fameswap
Screenshots and seller statements, taken at face value. Neither marketplace reads Meta payout records or violation history.
- 02
The grow-first valuation
A PIB valuation names two numbers: what the asset is worth today and what it should be worth once it operates the way the category rewards. When the gap is large, PIB recommends growing first and then listing at the higher number.
Swapd and Fameswap
The price is whatever the seller posts.
- 03
PIB can run the asset after the close
Turnkey Management puts the team that already runs publishing assets on your new asset from the day the transfer closes. You acquire cash flow instead of acquiring a workload.
Swapd and Fameswap
The buyer runs the account alone from the moment the login changes hands.
- 04
Entity transfers, not account handovers
The LLC that owns the Business Portfolio changes hands, with the templates and the process behind it. The transfer holds up under Meta's terms and the asset keeps earning.
Swapd and Fameswap
Account handover, which is the path Meta's terms prohibit. PIB transfers the entity that owns the Business Portfolio.
- 05
No buyer fees
Buyers read full listing detail, make offers, and run diligence at no charge. A buyer pays the purchase price and the escrow provider's fee, and nothing to PIB.
Swapd and Fameswap
Fee structures vary by marketplace and deal. Swapd publishes a seller-paid range of 2 to 11 percent, as published.
- 06
Both tracks
Open a Direct Listing to $49,999 with a flat fee and no success fee, or let PIB verify, value, and sell it with you as an Elite Listing from $50,000 with no listing fee.
Swapd and Fameswap
One model: post the account, agree a price, hand it over through escrow.

Where Swapd and Fameswap is stronger
Swapd and Fameswap move small social accounts fast and cheaply, with escrow built into every deal and almost no paperwork. For an account with no business behind it, that speed is the product. PIB transfers publishing businesses, which is slower by design: the entity, the Business Portfolio, the site, and the payout history move together, and PIB verifies each of them first.
What Swapd and Fameswap does well
- Speed. A social account can list, sell, and hand over on Swapd or Fameswap in days, with far less paperwork than a business sale.
- Escrow on every deal. Both marketplaces hold the funds themselves and release only after the buyer confirms the account is as described.
- Volume in small accounts. Thousands of listings across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X give a buyer a wide pick at the low end.
- Inspection period. Fameswap gives the buyer an inspection window after payment to verify the account before funds release, as published.
Account handover is the risky path.
Meta's terms prohibit the direct sale of Pages. Swapd and Fameswap move accounts by handing over the login. PIB structures every transfer as an entity transfer: the LLC that owns the Business Portfolio changes hands, which is the same mechanism used in company acquisitions and the reason the asset keeps earning without payout issues after the close.
Three questions.
Why is PIB slower than Swapd or Fameswap?
Because more moves. A social account marketplace hands over a login. PIB transfers the entity, the Business Portfolio, the site, and the documentation, and it verifies the payout history and account standing before the listing goes live. That is the difference between an account and a business.
Is an entity transfer really necessary?
For a monetized Facebook page it is the only path that holds up. Meta's terms prohibit the direct sale of Pages. Transferring the LLC that owns the Business Portfolio keeps the asset compliant, keeps payouts flowing, and lets the buyer resell cleanly later.
Can PIB list a small account?
Yes. The Direct Listing track starts at $499 and charges a flat listing fee per 6 month term with no success fee. Numbers on a Direct Listing publish as seller-reported and the listing says so.
